Sarah Forster is CEO and Co-Founder of The Good Economy (TGE), an independent impact advisory firm dedicated to enhancing the role of business and investment in inclusive and sustainable development.

Founded in 2015, TGE has rapidly established itself as a trusted advisor and specialist in social impact measurement and management (IMM). TGE is a leading impact advisor to investors in affordable housing advising clients with a combined AUM of over £3.7 billion. Sarah played a key role facilitating the development of the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) as well as a common impact framework for equity investors in affordable housing.

Sarah has worked at the forefront of finance for positive impact for more than 25 years. Prior to establishing TGE, she held senior positions at Big Issue Invest, the New Economics Foundation and the World Bank.

She spent 15 years working in international development with a specialisation in microfinance and post-conflict reconstruction working in Africa, South Asia and the Balkans.
