Robert joined investment firm Federated Hermes in 2020 and is responsible for the establishment of innovative sustainable and impact investment strategies across public and private markets. He currently works on the interdisciplinary evaluation and integration of ecological, climatological, social-economic and financial models.

Prior to this, Robert worked at the Financial Conduct Authority as a technical expert on sustainable and impact investment and environmental technologies in the FCA’s asset management department, and in an international advisory capacity on sustainable finance and systemic risk.

Robert is the expert author for the CFA on Climate-Financial Scenario Analysis and Climate-Economy-Land-Use Modelling. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Global Systems Institute, University of Exeter. Robert is an advisory member of various expert working groups, including the Financing UK Nature Recovery Initiative currently advising both UK and devolved governments on the establishment of UK Nature Markets. Robert is the Founding Chair and current co-Chair of the UK Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF).
