Caledonia Housing Association becomes the latest organisation to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (SRS).
Caledonia is one of the largest housing associations in Scotland, providing homes across 8 local authorities – Perth and Kinross, Dundee, Angus, Fife, Highlands, West & East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire.
It manages over 5,500 high-quality, affordable social rented homes and delivers factoring services to over 2,300 homeowner customers.
Barry Johnstone, Director of People and Governance, at Caledonia said: “Adopting the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) for Social Housing underscores our commitment to transparency, accountability, and sustainability.
“As an SRS Adopter, we are proud to demonstrate our social and environmental impact while meeting the expectations of tenants, stakeholders, and funders. Joining this respected framework aligns with our mission to create thriving communities, reduce environmental impact, and ensure a sustainable future for all.”
Piers Williamson, Chair of SfH, said: “We are pleased to welcome Caledonia Housing Association to the SRS Adopters community. We are particularly pleased to welcome another Scottish Housing Association.
“Some very good ESG initiatives are coming from outside England, and it is really satisfying that we are able to incorporate a local approach to sustainability in our data gathering and championing stand-out examples of individual criteria. We very much look forward to working with Caledonia in the coming months.”
