ForHousing joins the SRS Adopters Community

ForHousing is the latest housing association to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS).

Based in the North West, ForHousing owns and manages over 24,000 homes across Fylde, Knowsley, Oldham and Salford. It has an emphasis on tenant voice by listening to what matters to the community and providing safe, well maintained homes and efficient services.

Sarah McDermott, Head of Treasury and Financial Control at ForHousing, said: “ForHousing is proud to be an Adopter of the SRS, which marks a significant milestone in our journey towards greater transparency, accountability and purpose-driven leadership .

“Embracing this standard strengthens our ability to deliver lasting social value and reinforces our commitment to providing safe, well maintained homes, positively impacting the lives of our social housing tenants.”

Piers Williamson, Chair of SfH, said: “We are delighted to welcome ForHousing to the SRS Adopters community. I have worked with ForHousing for some time now (with a different hat on) and I know from that, how committed they are to their communities and regeneration.

“We look forward to seeing the progress they make integrating the SRS Framework into their own management thinking and sharing their ESG journey with the wider group of enthusiastic Adopters around them.”
