Havebury Housing Partnership is the latest organisation to join the growing community of Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (SRS) adopters.
Based in Suffolk, Havebury Housing Partnership owns and manages over 7,500 homes for rent and shared ownership, across the east of England.
Jenny Spoor, director of operations at Havebury said: “We know housing plays a significant role in our country’s carbon emissions, and we are committed to playing our part in addressing climate change.
“Over the next three years, we’ll focus on identifying and upgrading our existing homes to meet future standards. This includes using our SHDF Wave 2.1 funding to bring homes currently under Energy Performance Certificate EPC C up to that standard.”
“We’re pleased to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing and look forward to sharing our first ESG report.”
Brendan Sarsfield, Chair of SfH, said: “SfH welcomes Havebury Housing to the SRS adopter group.
“We look forward to working with Havebury on its sustainability reporting efforts.”
