Transform adopts SRS

Transform Housing & Support has become the latest housing provider to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (SRS).

Transform is a charity and social housing provider which delivers a range of services to empower and aid the homeless and vulnerable groups. Founded in 1972, Transform supports over 1,800 people each year to live independently in Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire and South West London. Amongst housing provisions, the organisation offers support and care services to aid in personal development.

Lawrence Santcross, Chief Executive at Transform, said: “At Transform, we believe every action counts. By adopting the SRS and collecting data, we can understand our current impact and plan for a more sustainable future.

“This helps us identify gaps and take clear steps towards meeting our standards, creating positive environmental and social outcomes for our clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

“Additionally, our reporting will help secure financing to make our clients’ homes climate-ready and achieve net zero by 2050.”

Brendan Sarsfield, Chair of SfH, said: “We are pleased to welcome Transform into our growing community of SRS Adopters. We are proud to see that Transform recognises the importance of solidifying their sustainability strategy and practices, and we look forward to collaborating with them.”
