Fayann joined housing association L&Q’s Group Board in 2018 and has devoted nearly 20 years to working as an involved resident. For two decades she has worked tirelessly with L&Q, one of the country’s largest HAs, and the wider social housing sector to drive continuous improvement in the quality of homes and services.
Prior to her work in the social housing sector, Fayann gained experience working as an IT professional across legal, banking and housing sectors.
Following the Grenfell tragedy, Fayann has also taken a place on Dame Judith Hackitt’s Industry Safety Steering Group. She regularly participates in high-profile debates with stakeholders and industry experts.
Fayann is strong advocate for resident empowerment and is determined to champion the skill and capacity of the resident body. She was a key figure in L&Q’s decision to switch from fixed-term to lifetime tenancies.
