Prima Group has become the latest housing association to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (SRS) and has used the criteria to publish its first ESG Report.
Prima Group currently owns and manages over 2,700 properties in the Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral areas, plus a small number in Llandudno.
Ailsa Dunn, Executive Director of Insight and Group Services at Prima said: “As a social housing provider, it’s central to our mission to improve living conditions for people in our communities, and we were already delivering on several separate environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives and projects.
“We are pleased to have taken this step in adopting the SRS. We see it as a key driver in bringing our approach together in a much more coordinated way. We are sure the standard will support us in being increasingly transparent and focused on our ESG performance, by helping us measure, report and improve our approach. In publishing our first report, it is already encouraging Prima to be more transparent and accountable and we are confident it will do the same for others in social housing.”
Brendan Sarsfield, Chair of SfH, said: “We are pleased to welcome Prima to our growing list of adopters.
“Prima provides another example of how the SRS is accessible for smaller organisations.”
