SfH’s structured membership model supports the continued growth and long‑term development of the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS). This model ensures SfH can maintain the quality of the framework, strengthen its impact across the sector, and give organisations the tools they need to report sustainability performance with clarity and confidence.

The subscription system enables SfH to invest directly in the SRS: maintaining its relevance, supporting housing providers as they report each year and guiding its strategic evolution. It also allows Sustainability for Housing to expand on its value proposition, providing thought leadership, data insights, convening opportunities and case studies of best practice.

Membership Options

There are two membership tiers: Adopter and Endorser

Both demonstrate support for transparent SRS reporting, but each offers a different level of access and benefits.

Why become an Adopter?

Access to the SRS Insights DatabaseUse of the Annual BadgeAccess to exclusive, Adopter-only events
The SRS Insights Database is transforming how housing associations understand ESG performance across the sector. Built in partnership with Housemark, it brings together all publicly available SRS data into a single, easy‑to‑navigate portal. Adopters can explore sector‑wide results, compare their performance with peers and track key sustainability trends over time.
The SRS Insights Database is undergoing further development, with plans to provide even more insights and analysis on the social housing sector’s SRS performance.
Adopters receive the official SRS Annual Badge. Updated each year, it can be used on websites, ESG reports and communications to show a clear, recognised commitment to transparent reporting. The badge is becoming a marker of credibility for stakeholders and funders.
Adopters will have access to exclusive events, providing opportunities for showcasing best practice, peer networking and cross-sector collaboration. The Secretariat team is working to introduce this benefit in 2026.

Why does adopting the SRS matter to you?
