Fayann Simpson will be speaking at Housing 2026

Fayann Simpson, SfH Board Member, will be speaking at Housing 2026.

She will be speaking on 23rd June at 10:15am on the session title “The tenant voice in repairs, maintenance and decarbonisation programmes” on the Warm & Healthy Homes Stage.

This opening session centres the tenant perspective, what residents experience, what they expect, and why getting this right is critical for successful Retrofit, repairs and decarbonisation programmes delivery. The session will include:

  • What tenants experience during retrofit and major works
  • Why trust breaks down and how quickly it can be lost
  • What tenants want: clear communication, respect and a safe, healthy home
  • The real-life impact of poor delivery, including damp, mould and ongoing repair issues
  • How tenant voice can shape better outcomes from the outset
