North England
Housing provider

WDH (Wakefield and District Housing)

WDH is West Yorkshire’s biggest social housing provider owning and managing over 31,000 homes across the north of England. The housing association is committed to providing high quality, safe homes along with a range of support services to ensure residents are safe and secure at home and able to lead healthy and confident lives. WDH’s vision is to ‘create confident communities’ and a strong commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues plays a critical role in helping the organisation to deliver this vision effectively. WDH has ambitious targets to achieve net zero carbon business operations by 2030 and improve all existing homes to minimum EPC Band C, where feasible by 2030. Working with a range of partners, WDH is focussed on building and regenerating communities to create better, more sustainable, places to live for residents. “We are proud to be an official adopter of the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing and are committed to using the standard to improve our sustainability performance.”
