Sustainability for Housing (SfH) is delighted announce that care and support housing provider Look Ahead has adopted the Social Housing Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS).
Look Ahead owns or manages nearly 3,000 properties across London and the South East. It is regulated by both the Care Quality Commission and the Regulator of Social Housing and operates across 37 local authority areas.
The organisation provides a range of vital services for groups including care leavers, people facing homelessness and individuals with learning disabilities.
Julie Blair, Executive Director of Corporate Resources, said: “As a not-for-profit care and support provider and registered social landlord we know that we make a difference to our customers every single day. This is why we are delighted to have signed up to the SRS standard.
“We believe that this clear and creditable model helps providers like Look Ahead to demonstrate their positive impact to our wider stakeholders. In signing up to the standard we are highlighting our commitment to reporting ESG impacts in a transparent, consistent, and comparable way which enables us to learn and develop alongside others in our sector.”
Brendan Sarsfield, Chair of SfH, said: “It is great to see Look Ahead recognise the benefits of adopting the SRS.
“The services Look Ahead provides improves the lives of so many people and we are pleased that they will use the SRS to tell their ESG story.
“We hope that more care support providers will follow Look Ahead’s example.”
