South East landlord Origin Housing has become the latest housing association to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for social housing (SRS).

Origin, which owns and manages over 7,000 homes in London and Hertfordshire, joins more than 100 housing providers who have adopted the standard since its creation in 2020.

Carol Carter, Chief Executive of Origin Housing, said: “I am delighted to sign up to the SRS. As a sector our environmental, social and governance credentials are inherently strong, but this reporting framework provides additional transparency and helps boost our ambition to do more. I look forward to Origin Housing being part of this growing network and further building our ESG impact.”
