Midlands-based housing association Trident Group has announced it is adopting the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (SRS).

Trident, which owns and manages over 3,500 homes across 15 local authorities in the Midlands, joins more than 130 housing providers and funders who have adopted the Standard so far.

Gareth Price, Executive Director for Technical Services at Trident said: “We are proud to have joined the SRS Community.

“Trident is committed to tackling social injustice and inequality. By adopting the SRS we will continue to be a beacon of hope to all that need it and make our community and society better.”

Brendan Sarsfield, Chair of SfH, said: “We are pleased that Trident has recognised the value of adopting the SRS for housing providers that want to drive social outcomes in their communities. “We look forward to working with Trident as it begins recording its ESG performance over the coming years.”
